Today, the organization is incredibly excited to announce that VCT Masters winner and legendary VALORANT player Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker has joined BLEED.

Yay was known as the best player in the world in 2022, and will look to acquire another trophy to his cabinet with a victory in the Pacific International League, which will begin next year.

BLEED welcomes legendary VALORANT player Yay

He will join the starting lineup immediately and will stay in Singapore for over a month to acclimatize and get to know his new teammates and supporting staff.

Yay was known for his time on OpTic Gaming, prior to the partnership model that was introduced.

Under OpTic, he won VCT 2022: Stage 1 Masters in Reykjavík, Iceland, and finished as runners-up for a series of major tournaments such as VALORANT Champions 2022 and VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters in Berlin, Germany under Envy.

Yay will compete under BLEED for the upcoming Pacific season to take our team to the next level. His experience, composure, and expertise will ensure our roster isn’t here for the short term; we’re here to win it all.

With yay on our team, we hope to prove to the world that we take this project extremely seriously.

We are here to win, so let’s make a statement.
